Happy trading!
This blog is about betting and trading on tennis. I make daily picks for my readers to bet on. I bet on tennis matches but often trade out of the positions using a sports trading platform such as Betfair or Betdaq, however, all my picks can be taken without trading out of them. Total picks since start of 2012 without trading: 82 Wins/36 Losses and Return on Investment (ROI) = 4.5%.

Day 1 results 2/4. Today's ROI = 49.25%
Today was pretty good, but could have been better.
Troicki lost a close one to Baghdatis. He was up a set and had chances in the 2nd set tiebreaker.
Garcia-Lopez lost in straight sets, but the first set ended in a tiebreaker.
Fognini won in straight sets, which was nice to see after his struggles lately.
Pospisil showed some strength that he shows from time to time. He had match points in Isner's last service game in the 3rd set, but didn't fold in the tie-breaker. I faced a match point in the breaker but fought back to win the set and take the match.
Tomorrow's picks will be up soon.

Day 1 Basel Indoors, Valencia Open
Basel
Troicki @ 2.32 v Baghdatis - Maybe I haven't learned my lesson with Troicki as he hasn't been on form since before the US Open, but this price is somewhat illogical, so I had to take it.

Day 4 results/Day 5 picks
Brutal day going 0/3 today. I locked in profits when Jarkko went up a set. I knew that he was probably tired from being in the Finals of Stockholm and he was lucky to take the first break off of Tsonga.
Tomorrow's picks
Bogomolov @ 1.31 v Lajovic
Starace at 7.2 v Tipsarevic
Anderson @ 2.12 v Melzer
Malisse @ 4.4 v Tsonga

Day 3 results in Austria/Russia
Only went 1/3 today. Should've been 2/3, but somehow Davydenko up two breaks in the third set and serving for the match twice lost in a third set tie breaker. It's craziness, but that is the beauty of tennis. Tomorrow's picks will be posted shortly.

Results Day 1 of St. Petersburg and Vienna
Had a tough start to this week. My picks went 3/5. Dolgopolov served horribly and was subsequently shelled. Somehow Simon after being up a set and having several break opportunities had a lapse and got broken in his last service game of set 2 and first service game of set 3. That coupled with his serve and he was able to hold on for the win.
Hopefully tomorrow is better.

Finals, Stockholm/Moscow - Results
So I went 0/2 on my picks today. Troicki got schooled by Tipsarevic, and the way he's been playing lately that's really no surprise. I should not have had a pick on that match, but Troicki at the price he was at seemed favorable. Jarkko, seemed like a good pick and after losing the first set, and winning the second he had Monfils on the ropes in his first two service games, after he failed to convert those break opportunities he completely fell apart. I got out of my position after he failed to break in Monfils' second serve game. I thought that might mentally plague him and it did, as he immediately was broken, so I had a slight win on that game.
I hope others caught that as well.
Picks for tomorrow out soon.

Went two for two today. However I traded out of Raonic when he was up a set and a break against Monfils. Never ceases to amaze me. Davydenko didnt put up much of a fight which I found surprising. I like many others take his former greatness too seriously.

Day 3 results
Today was a good day for my picks and trading....
I won all my picks except for Tommy Haas losing to Kevin Anderson after being up a set, and losing two tights sets after that. Anderson served like a monster throughout the match with an 81% first serve.
James Blake won the other dog of the day. I was mistaken about Chardy v Dolgopolov. That match isn't until later in the week. Please strike that pick if you're following as I will likely reevaluate it. If you've already bet it, you can lay off on it now or wait closer to the match as you'll likely lay for a small profit nearer to the match.

Round day 2
After a great start to day 1, my day 2 has been almost a total bust. My picks went 1/5 today, with my only winner being Dolgopolov.
Shockingly enough to me, Haase lost to Nishikori after being up a set and a break. Not to mention that because he donuted Nishikori in the first set and lost sets 2 and 3 by close margins, he actually won 17 games, to Nishikori's 14 games.
Not sure what is going on with Troicki at the moment, he can't seem to come up with wins either.
Alas, I'll have more picks for tomorrow out later today.

Shanghai Masters 1000 - Day 2
Picks for tomorrows matches
1. Tipsarevic @ 1.56 v F. Lopez -- While tipsy is the favorite here he has been beaten by Lopez in 4/5 of there head to head matches. However, Janko has reached new heights in his quality of play in the last 6 months and I think that this is a great price for this match based on how each of them has been playing in recent weeks.
2. Ljubicic @ 2.12 v Melzer -- Ljubicic has been playing well of late, and I think that he'll put up another impressive performance against Melzer.
3. Haase @ 2.18 v Nishikori -- Haase has played weakly in his last two matches and lost both. He will be looking to get a win back on the board and he should be a favorite against Nishikori.
4. Dolgopolov @ 1.49 v Kubot -- Dolgo should be a higher favorite that this against Kubot.
5. Troicki @ 1.49 v Harrison -- Again the odds aren't quite right on this one. Troicki is probably being discounted because he lost his last two matches to underdogs, however, he lost to up and comer Bernard Tomic, and always a threat Marcos Baghdatis. Which the odds don't reflect.
I see some other matches that I have interest in such as Raonic/Llodra, Roddick/Dimitrov, Nalbandian/Mayer, Simon/Montanes, Wawrinka/Young, Bellucci/Tursunov, and Bogomolov/Granollers. I may make an additional post before the matches, so sorry if it's too late or early for you.

Shanghai Masters - Day 1 results
Final match just finished in Shanghai. Today was a pretty good day, although it could have been even better if one or two of my close losses would have been won.
All 5 of my favorite picks were correct, while only 1 of 3 of my dogs were correct. The two that I lost were very close three set matches.
I will list tomorrow's picks shortly.

Shanghai Masters 1000 - Day 1
Today is the first day of the Shanghai Masters. This tournament is more wide open with both Federer and Djokovic pulling out. While it is still likely that Murray or Nadal will win this event, it does give the opportunity to other players to go deeper into the tournament because they won't have those roadblocks. I expect many upsets in early and late rounds.
Day 1
Nalbandian @ 1.42 v Gulbis
