Mubadala Semis Results
Today went down about how my gut had it going, except for the fact that Federer got punked out like a bitch. I didn't watch and I'm glad because it would have been difficult to see him take such a thrashing. I wouldn't read too much into it though as it was an exhibition, he hadn't had a match in over a month, and he was facing the world number 1 who had more time off and played a rough match against Monfils the day before.
Rafa's loss to Ferrer was also somewhat expected. Rafa is burned out. I believe that he'll drop out of the number 2 spot later this year. He has mentally crumbled since losing 6 finals to Novak this year.

Mudadala Semis
No picks for later today. Although I see the line on the Djokovic/Federer match is somewhat inconsistent, I still don't want to bet against Federer.
I'd look to see how well each is playing after a few games or even a set and go from there. Same with Ferrer v Nadal, but I'm not making any official picks.

The start to the tennis season was a good one. Djokovic held out to win in 3 although it never seemed like he was in very much danger. Glad to start the season off with a win.
On another note, some of you may wonder why I'm restarting the year here at the end of the year. Well in case you are unaware the tennis season pretty much ends with the ATP World Tour Finals in November and Davis Cup at the beginning of December. Thus this is the beginning.

Tennis is finally back! Mubdala
Tennis is finally back. I'm thankful that the main sport of my choosing to bet on has a limited amount of time off. Since the Davis Cup I have been occupying my time betting/trading on NFL football and a limited amount of NBA basketball. I have had some success in each, but I'm much more confident with my assumptions on Tennis.
I will start the new year, with a new slate of growth. I'm going to target for a 10% return on every bet made. Hopefully, I am able to get reach that goal.

Tennis is back after almost a week!!!!! Davis Cup Final day 1
After not seeing tennis since Fed beat Jo in London on Sunday, I've been going through withdrawals and I'm happy to see Davis Cup start later today!
The first rubber is Rafael Nadal v Juan Monaco: Rafa is the king of Clay and although Monaco is playing great he doesn't stand a chance, Nadal (3-0) @ 1.4 v Monaco.
Rubber 2 - David Ferrer v Juan Martin Del Potro: Ferrer has a great Davis Cup record and a great clay record. However, Juan Martin's powerful flat forehands and his two hand backhands are going to be too much for Ferrer tomorrow. Also, Del Po's desire will be too great. Del Potro @ 2.68 v Ferrer.
